Mrs. Mary Ellen Carleton, daughter of Mr. and Mr**. Joseph Meker, of Princeville, and Walter William Pul* len, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Pullen. of the same place, were united in marriage in a simple ceremony performed in Rock Island January 2. by Rev. Joseph A. Chapman, pastor of the First Methodist church of that place. ' ' * ; * 1Mr. and Mrs. Pullen spent a fewdays, following the ceremony, with friends in Rock Island, and are at present guests of friends at points In the northern part of the state.* They expect to be at home after th^.,‘ j first of March on the W. H.farm two miles north of La Fayette. They have many friends both here and in Princeville, who wish them ‘ | much happiness in their wedded life.
