Miss Alice Brown of Troy, daughter of Rev. and Mrs. J. R. C. Brown, has been employed by our school board to finish the unexpired term of Miss Ethel Rowing, who resigned Just be* fore the holidays. MlssBrown comes highly recommended as a teacher, mid doubtless will give the patrons a good school. *Mrs. Ethel Rowing, who resigned her position as principal of our school a few days before Christmas, was united in marriage Dec. 26, to Dr. O. W. Snodgrass of Frank ford. The wedding took place at the home of the bride’s uncle, Sen. W. J. Buchanan of Eolla, Rev. E. L. Rutlege performing tiie ceremony. After dinner the bride and bridegroom departed on atrip to Chicago.
