Snrles of Yorkville, were wanied at the home of the bride's parents inYorkville, Racine county, by the Rev.■ • lt;■Samuel Collins. Both 'Rev. and Mrs. Collins arc still, living and celebrated their gulden wedding two yearlt ago at their present home in Alleghany, .Fa.Mr. and Mrs. Phelps have resided in Racine ever since their mavriaoo fifivl, •years ago. In the home where they now live five children were born to them., three of whom are living at the present time: Miss Ella S. Phelps, who resides will) her parents and who during twelve rears has been librarian of the Racine Junction library; Jesse D. Phelps of Minto, N. !),, and Heurv W. Phelps, of Grafton, X. IX. boils sous prominent attorneys of North Dakota. Mr. William H. Phelps during manyyears was an architect and builder anti■*»many of the older homes in this city stand as monuments today of his ahil-lrity in his line of business. Ho retired several years ago from active business life.Mrs. Phelps has been an invalid during tin: past two years, . but her many friends are rejoiced to learn of her improvement in health recently.Very few persons were aware - that Jan. 7 would be the golden wedding day of this worthy couple, as notice had not been previously given out, iliey not having intended to celebrate the event, but a few friends who were cognizant of the fact came to extend congratulation and wish them many more years to celebrate their wedding anniversary.
