P. Briggs and wife and Mr. Hyde and wife. Appropriate refresh* meats were partaken of and a good time generally was had. There were someI very pretty presents in glass—that being the appropriate article. Mr. Brown ie. one of our old settlers, coming here before ’sixty. He keeps one of the largestI dairies iu the country, and supplies the .t *■j city with milk.
