Wed in double-ring ceremonyMiss Susan Elizabeth Fix, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Fix, 1813 S. Garrison Ave., and Duane William Griffith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Griffith, Route 1, were united in marriage at 7 p.m. Friday Dec. 24 at the First United Methodist Church.The Rev. H. L. Thompson officiated at the doublering ceremony before an altar adorned with poinsettias, white chrysanthemums and candles.Miss Deanna Denny provided the wedding music.The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a street-length dress of red velvet trimmed in white and carried a bouquet of baby chrysanthemums and Stephanotis.Miss Denise Fix attended her sister as maid of honor. Best man was Dan Simmons.A reception followed the ceremony at the home.
