AELBA TABLERMr. and Mrs. Emmett Tabler of Stewart Route 1 announce the engagement as of Dec. 25, of their daughter, Miss Elba Alberta Tabler, to Mr. Gilbert Duane Smith of Canton.Mr. Smith is the son of Mrs. Pauline Ramsey of Canton. He recently served four years in the United States Air Force, being stationed two years in Milden-hall, England. He has returned to his former employment with Gibbons and Grable Construction Company of Canton.Miss Tabler, a 1958 graduate of Rome-Canaan High School, is employed in Columbus with Commercial Motor Freitdit.A July wedding is being planned.
