Mr. and Mrs. Ofville Britt Honored at Dinner on 55th Wedding AnniversaryIn honor of their 55th wedding anniversary on Jan. 3, Mr. and Mrs. Orville Britt were taken to Bobbin’s in Vandalia fox* dinner by Miss Euila Britt and Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Britt, Bobby and Jean Marie. They were surprised by the presence of all their children who were waiting at Rob-bin’s when they arrived.Present were Mr. and Mrs. Harry Britt, Oro/psey; Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Britt, Ronnie and Roger, Effingham; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Chance and Gheryb Springfield; Mr. and Mrs. Dale Britt, Nancy and Johnny, Van-dalia; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mery-man. Dale and Mary Ann, Centralia.After dinner, they all met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Britt where the family presented their parents with a beautiful lamp. An emerald green and white anniversary cake and punch were served.Afternoon callers, who also sent a lovely potted plant, were Mrs. Viola Locke, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Thalman and Mir. and Mrs. Les Thal-man, niece and nephews of the honored couple.
