AND MRSHoliday Wedding Joins* Peggy Hemmert and Jack Hale at ThayncThe holiday season set the scene for the wedding and reception of Peggy Hemmert, daughter of Mr and Mn Wilford Hemmert, Thayne, to Jack Hale, son of Edward Everett Hale of Afton.The double ring ceremony was performed at the bride’s home it high noon, by Bishop Oliver Had-erlie.Given in marriage, by her father, the bride wore a becoming gown of white ehtffon velvet and carried a small white Bible with a corsage of pmk rose budsMiss Enna Bee Hemmert, sister of the bride, was maid of honor and another sister. Trudy Hemmert, acted as flower girls They wore white and pink net dresses and earned bouquetsPerforming the duties of best man was Nord Wilkes, a friend of the bridegroom.Kirk Luthi and Jack Hemmert acted as ushers.Immediately following the ceremony the wedding guests were served luncheon Later the new Mr and Mrs Jack Hale greeted friends and relatives at a reception. Many gifts were received.The bride wore a going away suit of gray with black accessories. Following a short honeymoon the newlyweds will make their home at Logan where Jack will continue his schooling.
