The groom is the son of Randy and Charlotte Wells Jr., and Eva Wells.The bride was escorted by Gary Underwood and given in marriage by her father and mother.Matron of honor was Gina Hershberger, Kansas City, Mo. Bridesmaids were Kelly Elsten, Lawrence, Ashlee Fishback, Kansas City, Mo., Jennifer Slaby, Nevada, Mo., Jennifer Ravenscroft, Louis-burg, and Rachel Leiben-1 §ood, Lawrenoe.-^Best man was John Mier, Kansas City, Kan. Groomsmen were Mark Banker, J.D. Wells, Kelly Miller, andRyan Shadel, all of Lawrence, and Kyle Underwood, Denver.Candlelighters were Lora Wedd, cousin of the groom, Lawrence, and Lisa Maher, Olathe.Ushers were Kyle Tren-del Lawrence, Clay Morse, Wichita, Shane Wedd, cousin of the groom, Lawrence, Spencer Lawrenz, step-brother of the groom, Breckenridge, Colo.Flowergirl was Emma Stillman, (honorary) cousin of the groom, Lawrence. Ringbearer was NicklasBecker, cousin of the groom, Lawrence.Musicians were Kristin Allan, cousin of the bride, Lake Ozark, Mo.A reception was given at Lawrence Country Club. The couple took a wedding trip to St. Lucia.The bride is a 1992 graduate of Ottawa High School. She received her bachelor’s degree in sociology from Baker University in 1996. She is employed as a television advertising executive at Sunflower Broadband.The groom is a 1992 graduate of Lawrence High School.
