Icey Anne Wright Becomes Bride Of Luther B. ReavesThursday afternoon last, December 80, at the hour of four, Miss Icey Anne Wright was married to Mr. Luther Benjamin Reaves, at the First Baptist church in this city. Only the immediate families of the contracting parties were present.The chancel, the scene of the ceremony, was outlined with tall baskets of white chrysanthemums and fern foliage. White carnations were the chosen blossoms for the bride and members of the wedding party.Rev. T. A. Binford, the bride's pastor, read the impressive ring ceremony.The bride, attired in a navyblue suit, with blue and white accessories, had as her maid ofhonor, her only niece, Miss Martha Lula Wright of Houston. She was dressed in a bouffant frock of interchangeable taffeta, with a small hat trimmed with seed pearls. The groom was attended by his son-in-law, Herbert Policy of Lorena.Mrs. T. A. Binford was at the organ for the entire program of nuptial music. Miss Earline Weddle of Austin was the soloist.Following the ceremony the wedding party and all the guests repaired to the home of the bride’s aunt, Mrs. W. L. Warrock, for the reception. Poinsettias and white chrysanthemums were the blossoms used in the reception suite. The dining table was laid with a white nylon net cover, and centered with the wedding cake, a three-tiered cake, bearing a miniature bride and groom. Presiding at the coffoe service were Miss Martha Lula Wright and Mrs. James Albert of Houston. Mesdames J. I).
