Y., on Saturday evening, January first, at five o’clock, when their daughter, Florence Bernice, was united in ;n4rriage to Albert Sidney Hazzard, son of Rev. and Mrs. Herbert HazzaYd, of Brewster.The house was attractively decorated with ferns and baskets of pink roses. The ceremony at which Rev. | a Hazzard officiated, using the double ring service took place beneath a tower of laurel within which was suspended a large wedding bell of white roses.Just before the bridal party entered, Mrs. W. F. Detrick sang Because and At Dawning. Miss Hilde-gdrde Whitaker of Hancock, accompanied Mrs. Detrick and also played the Mendelssohn and Lohengrin wedding marches.An aisle was formed of ribbons carried by eight small friends of the bride; the Misses Doris Baird, Frances Cosgrove, Edith Wheelock, Margaret Davidson, Amy Davidson, Jennie Churchill, Kathryn Busfield and Theodore Churchill. Little Jane Chamberlain in a blue silk gown, as flower girl, lead the bridal procession. MIbs Laura Woolsey, dressed in pink georgette and carrying an arm bouquet of pink roses was her sister’s maid of honor. The bride entered on the arm of her father who gave hertltleAhiicspfaehvli0iicf1in marriage. The bride wore a gown jof white crepe satin and lace and a veil with train of white net held in place by a wreath of orange blossoms and tulle, and carried a shower bouquet of roses. She was awaited at the tower by the bridegroom who was attended by Mr. Russell Hunter, of Ithaca, N.
