Norton-Peterson Nuptials. ]A wedding of much interest to theirmany friends was solemnized at Lock- « ridge last week when Miss Pearl Nor- j ; ton became the bride of Ira Wyse, Peterson. They were married at the ( home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Estrus W. Norton, one and a half miles south of Lockridge. The j bride is the only daughter of the home ,• and is very sweet and winsome young j; lady. She was gowned in a traveling1I suit of dark blue tricotine and carried! a bouquet of bride's roses. The groom j is a son of the late Andrew E. Peter- ( son, whose home has been with his mother, Mrs. Anna Wyse Peterson, at Mt. Pleasant. He is a young man of sterling worth, a graduate of Iowa 'State college, and ore, ?* tly most promising young farmers *f he state. Pleasant, a delicious and elab-j orate wediing dinner was served by |Mrs. Augusta Cody and Mrs. Norton.| The subscribing witnesses to the marriage were Miss Ruth Peterson, a 4 cousin of the groom, and Mrs. Augusta Cody. *The happy couple left on the after-1II noon train for a short honeymoon I visit among relatives in Peoria, 111. On1 their return they will make their home on the Norton farm.
