MONDAY. ^The many friend* of Mr Olltt (Erlach ami Mima Edith Spill, of this place, were surprised when it was announced that the young couple were unitedin marriage at Allegheny Ctty, Pa., a few days ago at the home of the bride’s father After the ceremony the happy pair left for a short honeymoon in the eastern cities, after which they wiii return to this place where they will make their future home on Frost avenue at the handsome home Mr. Geriaeh recently had erected. Mrs. Oerlaeh Is the oldest daughter of Mr Waiter FI. Spill, one of our former business men, now* located at Allegheny City, and one of thetown’s most attractive and accomplished young ladies. Mr. (rerlach is one of the most popular and energetic young men of our town, being employed in a very responsible position by the Will Ison Bros., lumber dealers.Arm Taken Off.Mr. John Welsh, better known hereas “Port,’* and one of oaf popularyoung men had the misfortune to lose his left arm. Some time ago he left this place for Washington, where he joined the array. He found h»- had to he vaccinated according to lie rulesand regulations of that department. ..fter a few weeks ho was very muchalarmed to learn that blood poison had set In which would make it necessary for him to lose his arm, Everything was done that could be for the sufferer. but he was compelled to submit to amputation of the left arm.
