At Archer-street Wesleyan Church on Tuesday. December 20, Misa Catherine Drew, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Drew, of Medindie, was united in the bonds of matimony with Mr. Sydney Albert Vanes, M.A., of Prince Alfred College, Kent Town. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Thomas Lloyd assisted by Rev. J. Cowperthwaite, B.A. The bride was given away by her father and wore a gown of white brocade trimmed with chiffon and lace, the veil was silk embroidered and fixed on the head with the orthodox orange blossom A white shower bouquet was carried. The Misses Drew and Phtebe Chappie were the attendant maids, and were all frocked alike in dainty white muslin, leghorn hats with chiffon and plumes. Crooks decorated with white carnations and ferns were carried instead of posies. Amongst the guests present were Mr. and Mrs. John Drew, Mr., Mrs., and Miss Richard Martin, Mr. and Miss J. Marshall, Mr. and Mrs. John Hill, the Misses Hill, Mr. and Mrs. F. Chappie, Mr., Mrs., and Miss Burford, Mrs. and MiB8 Moftlin, Mr. and Mrs. Crase, Mr. and Mjb. Sharland, Mr. and Mrs. Norton, Miss Barker, Mr. and Mrs. R. Birks, Miss Kugolmann, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Loutit, Miss Dreyer, Mr. and Miss Davidson.
