Bouliane-Bingham Nuptia Vows Said Saturday Night3cMiss Nancy Lorraine Bingham became the bride of Mark Herd Bouliane in a double ring candlelight ceremony performed Saturday night at the First Baptist Church of Nava-sota. The Rev. James F. Bond, pastor, officiated.The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Loyd J. Bingham and the late Mr. Bingham. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Jean P. Bouliane, all of Nava-sota.The bride entered on the arm of her uncle, John Bingham of Friona, who gave her in marriage. For her wedding, she chose a gown of peau-de-soie styled in empire silhouette. It was designed with a decollete neckline with a high alencon lace Victorian collar jeweled in seed pearls. The molded bodice featured medici sleevesFrench cuffed at the wrists in alencon lace extending over the hands in petal points. The slim stemmed skirt with scattered alencon lace motif was fashioned with a butterfly bouffant train encircled in alencon lace which fell to chapel length. Her veil of elbow length silk illusion fell from a bandeau of looped pearls. She carried a colonial bouquet of white roses, baby’s breath, and the brides' chosen color of blue. For the traditional “something new” the bride wore pearl earrings, a gift from the groom, and for “something old” she wore in her shoe, an Indian head penny from a collection that once belonged to her grandfather, the late Oscar Moody.Serving as maid of honor was the bride’s sister, Miss Paula Bingham. Junior bridesmaids were Misses Elizabeth Smith of Brenham and Renea Rhodes of Bryan. Bridesmaidswere Mrs. Robert L. Bosse, Jr. of Huntsville, Miss Pamela Bingham and Mrs. Thomas Ger-geni of Bryan, Mrs. Michael McLain of College Station, Mrs. Charles Contella of Del Rio, and Miss Teresa Bingham of Friona. Miss Lori Burr was flower girl, and the ringbearer was Kurt Burr. All are cousins of the bride.Attendants were gowned in floor length empire styled gowns in deep blue crushed velvet, trimmed with white lace and adorned with pink flowers. Their headpieces were blue velvet bands trimmed with pink flowers. They carried nosegays of pink carnations highlighted with pink ribbon. The flower girl wore a dress of the same style in sherbet crushed velvet.Attending the groom as best man was Robert Newsome of Fort Worth. Junior groomsmen were David Bingham, brother of the bride, and Tuck McLain of Spring, cousin of the bride.Groomsmen were Charles Tracey of Alberquerque, N. M., Michael McLain of College Station, Bruce Cloud of San Antonio, Frank Franks and Robert Siegel, both of Austin, and Max Crittenden of Navasota. Ushers were Bill and Bob Bingham of Bryan, cousins of the bride, and Bobby Spiller of Austin.Special music was presented by Mrs. Hollis Hood, soloist, who sang the “Wedding Prayer” and the “Lord’s Prayer”. Shewas accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Curtis Maynard, who also provided the wedding music.Mrs. Bingham wore a pink Alaskine coat dress ensemble for her daughter’s wedding, and the groom’s mother, Mrs. Bouliane, wore a dark blue coat dress ensemble of silk Alaskine with matching hat.After a short wedding trip to points around Texas, the couple will be at home at 311 Flournoy Street, Austin. For traveling attire the bride wore a floor length dress with a cream colored crepe bodice and dark brown suede velvet skirt with matching accessories.Nancy received her bachelor’s degree in December from the University of Texas with a major in elementary education.
