Haynes,Jr., are at home in Whites-boro following their wedding December 31 in the North Union Church of Christ of Whites boro.The bride is the former Miss Glenda Dunnam, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Dunnam of Whites boro. Mr. Haynes is the son of Mrs. Catherine Haynes and the late H, B. Haynes, Sr„ of Spray, N. C.The double ring ceremony was read by Otis Proffitt, min-ister of North Union Church ofChrist, before arrangements ofwhite gladioli and trees of whitetapers.Mrs. J. T. Brown of Whites-boro sang 1 Love You Truly and the “Lord's Prayer* .The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white satin with a white lace Jacket with the sleeves coming to a point over the hands. Her veil was trimmed with white pearls. She carried a bouquet of white carnations and a whiteblble. The bible was a gift from cousins of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. T. P. Herring.Mrs, Roberi Goodman, sister of the bride, of Montgomery, Ala*, wis matron of honor# Sha wore a pink satin dress designed after that of the bride's. She carried a pink carnation tied with a white satin bow.Jose Alvereze of Colombia, South America, was best man.Candlelighters were Miss Helga Haynes, sister of the groom, of Spray, N.C„ and Ronnie Dunnam, cousin of thebride, of Tioga.Ushers were Luke Smith ofSpray, N. C„ brother-in-lawof the groom, and Larry Price of Farmers Branch, cousin ofthe bride.Mrs. Dunnam, mother of thebride, wore a two-piece whitewool suit trimmed with whitesatin, and beige accessories anda white carnation.Mrs. Haynes, mother of thebridegroom, wore a blue woolsuit with blue accessories anda white carnation.A reception was held in thechurch annex.The registering table and thebride’s table were laid in white net tied with pink love knots over satin. The bride's table was centered with the bridal bouquet flanked by silver candelabra holding whitetapers.Presiding at the table wereMrs. R. L. Achtmon of Whites-boro, sister of the bride, and Mrs. Bill Dunnam, sister-in-law of the bride, also of Whites-boro. Guests were registeredby Mrs. Luke Smith, sister of the bridegroom, of Spray, N.C.For traveling, Mrs. Haynes wore a two-piece pink knit suit, white accessories, and a whitecarnation corsage.Mrs. Haynes is a graduateof Whltesboro high school andis employed by a firm in Whites-boro.Mr. Haynes is stationed at Perrin Air Force Base in Sherman.Out-of-town euests includedthose from Amarillo, Farmers Branch, Tioga, Collinsville,Calllsburg, Montgomery, Ala., and Spray, N. C.Luncheon Honors Whitesboro WomanMrs. R, J. Kennedy, Sr.,who is spending the winter in Dallas with her daughter, Mrs. Joe B. Abernathy, entertainedwith a luncheon Thursday honorine her granddaughter.Miss Su7anne Abernathy ofBethesda, Md„ and Mrs. FayePrice of Whitesboro.Mrs. Price is a mest of her son and family. Dr. and Mrs.R. C. Price.Miss Abernathy returned by jet plane Sunday to Maryland where she is a member of the Montgomery county school system.
