Donald Allan Cross exchanged wedding vows.Pastor Edwin Bowen of Czar performed the double-ring ceremony for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Nysetvold of Chauvin and the son. of Mr. and Mrs. George Cross of Star-buck, Man.Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose a floor-length gown of nylon taffeta with a cowl neckline, which came to a V in front and back, and lily-point sleeves. A four-tiered fingertip veil of silk illusion misted from a matching headpiece. She carried a bouquet of red roses with streamers of roses.Attending the bride were her sister.Miss Madeline Nysetvold, maid of honor, Mrs, Annie Vallance, a friend of theThe Community Hall Board sponsored a very enjoyable New Tear’s Eve Dance in the Community Hall, with music by the Voss-Loy Orchestra.Young people home for Christmas*or New Tear's included the Misses Noreen Westwood, Sharon Proctor,I _Lorraine Edwards, Donna Gower, Della Graham, Delores Rehman, DorisWatchell, Yvonne McGladdery and Jimand Charles Ruchotzski, Cpl. Miss June Nyset-vold and Master Drew Cahill, cousins of the bride, were flower girl and ring bearer.The attendants wore simialr dresses of red velvet in the princess line, complete with white feather clip hats and accessories. They carried white muffs with ored and white corsages pinned to them. The flower girls was gowned in a white velvet gown with a red cummerbund and carried a white muff.Mr. Gordon Millar was best man. The guests were ushed to their pews by Bill Dewar and David Nysetvold,The wedding music was played byMrs, Maxine Frlcldeton, and soloist Miles Nysetvold .sang The Wedding Prayer'* during the signing of the register.The bride’s mother chose a dusty rose colored dress with lace inserts in the skirt, with navy accessories. Her corsage was of white gardenias.The groom's mother chose a beige dress with pink accessories, and her corsage was also a white gardenia.Following the reception, a banquet was held for one hundred and fifty guests at the Chauvin Legion Hall, where the Royal Purple Ladies catered. The bride's table was centred by the wedding cake, which was baked by Mrs. Karol Kisio and decorated by the bride's aunt, Mrs. Josle Bergerud* Mr.Wayne Nysetvold was master of ceremonies. Toast to the bride was proposed by Mr, Gordon Millar, to which the groom ably responded. Others who spoke were Jim Vallance, Bill Petrie, the bride’s father, Ken Saker, Bill Kaiser and Dr. Saville.For a honeymoon to be spent in Manitoba, the bride changed to a two-piece brown sheath dress with beige accessories, She wore an orchid corsage.The newly-weds will make their home at 801—0th Ave. West, Wain-wrlght.Out of town guests at the weddingwere Mr. and Mrs. Bill Kaiser, Mr. and. The Salvation Army used their officers and cadets on main intersections in cities and towns, and Bishops, Clergymen and Ministers proclaimed the Scriptures In many locations.It Is expected that public Bible reading will be a feature of the observance of Bible week in the future.Hoping that his son would enter politics, Sir Wilfred Laurier’s father had his son live for two years with an English-speaking family in order to become truly bilingual. *
