Miss Elaine Abel, 0. B. Rayburn Wed, IAnnouncement was received here , last week of the marriage of Miss Elaine Abel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Abel of Sheldon, and Donald B. Rayburn, son of Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Rayburn of, Vermillion, S. D. 'Miss Abel is the granddaughter; of Ed.. Abel of Guttenberg.The wedding took ■ place last September 2, in Elk Point, S. D., in the presence of friends,Mrs. Ravbum was graduated from- Sheldon high school in the class of 1931. - She took nurse training at St. Joseph’s Nursing school, Sioux City, of which she is a graduate.Since gra duatJon, she has been nursing in Sioux Citv irntn nn-.o-her, when she left for Santa Barbara, Calif., where she now is employed in the General hosoital..Mr. Rayburn is a graduate of Hurley, S. D., high school. He attended Augustana college. Sioux Falls, and was graduated from the University of South Dakota, where he was a member of Lambda Chi AlDha fraternity.He: now is employed in the McDermott funeral home in SantaiBarbara, where the couple is residing.
