The three daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Wleck who were present wore Miss Irene Wieck, of Omaha, Miss Hilda Wieck, of Anthon, and Mrs. Bcrhard Kahler and her husband. Mr. Kahler. of Johnstown, Neb. Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Kahler expect to move to Denison the first of March, where they will have charge of the Jacob Sachau larm northwest of town.Mr. Max Moffltt entertained at dinner pn Sunday Messrs. Lawrence Randall. Rex Moffltt. Robert Brown. Marshall Jones and Ronald Wygant. A ‘sumptuous dinner was nervnd by Mrs. Will MofTltt. assisted by her niece. Miss Delia McBride. The afternoon was pleasantly enjoyed with music by Marshall Jones and Rex Moffltt, after which the guests departed, voting the host a very pleasant entertainer.*Mrs. C. L. Smith entertained at a house party on last Thursday and Friday. A number of her former school teacher friends arrived Thursday and remained until New Years evening and all enjoyed the hospitality of Mr. and Mrs. Smith. The guests were Mrs. Mason Ramey, or Arion; Miss Edith Jefferson of Woodbine; Miss Essie Dray, of Missouri Valley, and Mrs. Homer Denney, of Mt. Ayr.She entered the State University of Iowa last September, but did not return after tho holidays. She la a young lady of pleasing personality and her friends arc numbered by her acquaintances, i/cr/ry PTsaggauTIs a son of-Mr.and Mrs. John Saggau. of this city. He is a young man of good character, upright, industrious and in sure to make a success of life.
