Swili City.Last Thursday evening: at 4:30 o’clock at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Loos, the marriage of Samuel Alfen and Miss Laura Loos occurred, Rev, Caylor, pastor of M. E. church, officiating.The decorations at the home were arranged by the S. C. M. and S. club, of which Mrs. Allen was a member.Eighty-five were present. The out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Cone and Mr. and Mrs. S. Wakefield, of Lyons, and Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Allen, of Bedford.Mr. and Mrs. Allen will make their home at Switz City, where Mr. A. owns a livery stable.______i _a Aaai____
