The oozy home of Mr and Mrs. JohnP. Ankeny on South street was thescene of a quiet though pretty nuptialevent at four o’clock Wednesday afternoon. when their daughter E^tella wasunited in marriage to Mr. MermanArthur Long of Pittsburg. The parlor,in which the ceremony was performedby the Rev. J. W. Wilson of the UnitedBrethren ohuroh, wat prettily decorated with holly and mistletoe, andlighted with candles, and only nearrelatives and intimate friends of thecontracting parties were present. MissElta Ankeny, a sister of the bride,acted as bridesmaid, and Mr HFaustin Hoover of New Paris was bestman. Miss June Bowman of Holsoppie presided at the piano and played aselection from Mendelssohn.
