Shrewsbury, only daughter of Mrs. Ellen Shrewsbury, and one of Madison’s most cultured and lovable young women, was given in marriage to Mr. A. J. Wyatt,'a prominent citizen and merchant of Mount Sterling, Ky. There were present only a few Intimate and special friends of the bride and groom. Capt. and Mrs. S. M. Strader lead the bridal party, followed by Mr. F. M. Wyatt and Miss Juliette Hilburn, Mr. T. W. Priest and the bride’s mother and the bride and groom. As they moved down the aisle to the altar, Miss Qertle Greiner played from the organ Mendelshon’s Wedding Maieh. Rev. N. W. Heermans, Rector of tile church, performed the beautiful Episcopal ceremony in an impressive manner. After the ceremony a short informal reception was held at the residence of the bride’s mother, after which Mr. and Mrs. Wyatt left on the afternoon train for their home | at Mount Sterling, Ky., where a reception will be given them to-night. In three or four weeks they will return to Madison ! and make their home with Mrs. Wyatt’s mother. Mr. Wyatt will spend a part of ! his time in Alabama looking after busi- ; ness interests he has there. Mr. T. W. Priest and Mr. F. M. Wyatt were from ] Mount Sterling, Ky., and accompanied |Mr. and Mrs. Wyatt tq their home. j0*\ •.
