State Carriages for tub Wedding of thePrikcbss Royal.—We have been favoured by Messrs. Hcoper and Co., the eminent coachbuiiders of the Hay-market, with a private inspection of some of the carriages which they have had to build expressly for the occasion of the Royal wedding. Some of them are plain vehicles for the attendants, and are similar to the ordinary Royal carriages, but the two principal are very handsome. They are built in tho same style as the ordinary carriages used by the Queen and her household, but more expensively finished, the upper panels ot the bodies being highly polished, instead of bemg constructed of ‘leather, as is usually the case. Tho Royal arms are emblazoned on the panels of tne doors, and the lower corner panels bear the insignia of the Order ol the Garter. The bodies arc besides embellished with various gilt ornaments and surmounted by a crown at each corner. The hammercloths are made of scarlet cloth and purple velvet elegantly decorated, gold lace fringe, and on the sides the Royal arms arc emblazoned in gold. Tin* springs are highly gilt, and the porch and wheels arc painted scarlet picked out with gold and black. One of th»% carriages is fitted up inside with plain drab, and the other with yellow striped satin damask, and tho doors arc elegantly trimmed with scarlet and gold trimmings. The Roval carriages will amount to Id, most of which have been already taken to the mews at Buckingham Palace, and those now finished by Messrs. Hooper and Co. will, by their elegance and beauty, add to the splendour that is to grace the forthcoming auspicious ovene.
