Spencer of Albia. and Charles Ralph Da via, son of Mr. and Mrs, 0. G. Davis of Moravia, were united in marriage at the parsonage of the First Methodist church in Albia Saturday, Dec. 30, at high noon. Rev, Cecil A. Wells read the single ring ceremony in the presence of a few relatives and friends.The couple was attended by Rosemary Spencer, sister of the bride, and Jack McDonough.The bride was attired in a dress of white wool jersey with brown accessories, and had a corsage of red roses. The bridesmaid wore a gold and black dress with black accessories, and a corsage of sweetness. The bridegroom wore a brown pinstripe suit and a carnation boutonniere. The bestman was also dressed in brown and had a carnation boutonniere,Mrs. Davis was graduated from Albia high school with the claBs of 1942. She has been employed in war work in Dea Moines for the past several months. Mr, Davis, who is farming with his father, was graduated from Moravia high school class with the class of 1837,The bridal party and guests were entertained at a wedding dinner at the Dalin Cafe following the service. The taree-tiered wedding cake whs adorned with a miniature bride and bridegroom.Guests at the wedding included Mrs. Elmer Vance, sister of the bridegroom, and Mr. Vance of Detroit, Mich., Don L. Davis, A/S, U. S.
