Kathryn Marie Antoine became the bride of Harry I.. Quiggle, Dec. 26 in the Wright-Patterson AFB chapel one. Chaplain (Maj.) Eugene Beekley officiated at the 2:30 p.m. double ring ceremony.The bride is the daughter of MSgt. and Mrs. R. J. Antoine, 865 S. Maple ave. The bridegroom, who is an airman second class in the U.S. Air Force stationed at Bakalar AFB, Columbus, Ind., is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Quiggle, Castanea, Pa.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor-length gown of white taffeta featuring swirls of white tulle in the chapel train topped by a large bow at the back waist. The bodice, styled with an empire waist, was enhanced with a short jacket with long sleeves tapering to bridal points over the hands.HER WHITE silk illusion veil was enhanced with seed pearls and caught to a white taffeta bow. She carried a bouquet of white roses, white orchids and holly.Mrs. Sam Summers, West Unity, O., was maid of honor, and Devan Lynn Antoine, sister of the bride, was junior bridesmaid. Mrs. Lynn Shultz, Markle, Ind., and Miss Peggy Thorpe, Fairborn, were bridesmaids.The attendants wore floor-length gowns of pink crepe designed with empire waists trimmed in burgundy velvet, three-quarter-length sleeves and large bows at the back. Red and white carnations and holly with red and white streamers were used in their bouquets.Best man for the bridegroom was James Brucker, Fairborn. Ushers were Lynn Shultz, cousin of the bride, and Russ Campanello, Wright-Patterson AFB.FOLLOWING THE ceremony, a recpetion was held at the home of the bride's parents. The bride's mother received guests in a dress of burgundy velvet enhancedwith white lace and black accessories. The bridegroom'smother chose a green velvet dress with green and black accessories. Their corsages were of red roses and white carnations.Christmas appointments, green fern, poinsettias and pink and white flowers were used in the decorations. A two-tiered wedding cake and candles graced the serving table. Mrs. James Brucker and Mrs. Delbert Weaver, Tecumseh, Mich., were hostesses. Miss Lynda Wilgus, Fairborn, was in charge of the guest book.Guests included Mr. and. Mrs. V. C. Schultzand Mrs. Lelha Antoine, the bride’s grandmother, all of West Unity, O.; Mr. and Mrs. E. V. Harrison, Ft. Wayne, Ind., the bride’s grandparents, and Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Weaver and Joe.When the couple left for Southern Indiana, the bride was wearing a brown tweed coat-dress ensemble accented with tan accessories and the orchids from herbridal bouquet.The newlyweds will make their homeat Bakalar AFB. The bride graduated from Fairborn high school and attended Richard Weston school of beauty culture, Dayton. She will complete the beauty course in Columbus, Ind. The bridegroom is a graduate of Lockhaven, Pa., high school.
