Druckhammer Sisters Wed In Double Wedding Ceremony Monday EveningThe Memorial Baptist Churchwas the setting Monday eveningfor the double wedding of MissArda Mae Druckhammer andMarvin M Mueller of Bryan and Miss Ruby Druckhammer and Paul S. Decker of Chandler Arizona. Rev. E. H. Crouch per formed the double ring ceremonies.The brides are daughters of Mrs Minnie Druckhammer of Navasota. Mr. and Mrs. Paul S. Decker of Port Jervis, New York, Mr and Mrs. Lewis Mueller of Portland. Oregon are parents of the grooms.The church was lighted by cathedral tapers in a large branched candelabra and on either side of the candelabra were large baskets of white mums and gladioli. White satin bows marked the pews.Rick Franklin , soloist, sang “Because and “The Lord’s Prayer.” accompanied hv the pianist, Miss Thelma Wehring.Given in marriage by her brother. Texasda Mae was attired in a floor length dress of tulle and lace over satin The fitted bodice of lace was designed with a portrait neckline and long pointed sleeves. The bouffant skirt of lace was accented on each side with tiers of pleated tulle. Her finger tip veil of illusion w\as held by a headband of irride-scent sequins and seed pearls. She carried a white Bible adorned w ith an arrangement of j feathered white mums.Given in marriage by her brother, Earl Druckhammer, Ruby chose floor length creation of tulie over satin. The fitted bodice of tulle was accented with lace terminated in a train. A band of iridescent sequins and seed pearls held the cascading finger tip veil of illusion. She carried a white Bible adorned with an arrangement of feathered mums.Miss Marjie Wehmeyer and Miss Lela Wehmeyer were the maid of honors and the bridesmaids were Miss Ima Myrle Burns of Iola, Miss Mary 1'ran Ices Smith of Somerville and Mrs. Dick Fowler. The flower girls were Linda Sue Burns and Joyce Elaine Vicain of Many, Louisiana. The attendants wore I identical dresses of blue taffeta with blue hats and black patent shoes. They carried a bouquet of white mums.Gene Facklor of Bryan and Kevin Whitesides of Bryan were the best men. Groomsmen were Alfred Thane, Dick Fowler Ushers were Seth Gotham and Fred Kaechele.Following the ceremony a reception was held at the church. Misses Velma and Thelma Smith of Somerville presided at the guest book. Mrs. L. E. Vicain of Many, La. and Mrs. Tim Burns served the cake and punch,For a wedding trip to Columbus, Ohio, Arda Mae chose a blue suit and black accessories with a corsage of white mums, Ruby chose a blue suit with black accessories and a corsage of white mums.After a wedding trip to Miami, Florida Mr. and Mrs. Paul Decker will live at Chandler, Arizona. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Mueller will make their home in Navasota.Barry Open House Compliments Girls Home For HolidaysComplimenting college and career girls who were homo for the holidays, an open house was given last Saturday by Mrs. Ralph Barry. Twenty two girls greeted the callers in the living room, where bouquets of pink glads and carnations and gold leaves were the decorations.The doorways and windows | were arched with gold sprayed eleagnus. Pink and gold was again the color theme in the dining room .where pink begonia i and geranium plants were in the bay window The Berano lace and embroidery covered table h-*ld an unique flower center. An antique crystal column com pote was the basis for a “cage” made of tall pink gladioli whips which enclosed a pink carnation
