Monday Nuptials In Holy Angels' Unite Judith Richey, Ronald MeyersHoly Arigels9 CatAollc Church was the Setting for the holiday wedding of Judith Ann (Judy) Richey and Ronald Gene Meyefs. The Rev. William G. Armitage officiated at the 9 o’clock ceremony Monday, Jan. 2, Music was by the Rev. John Koflin and the school choir. The bride, daughter of Mrs. Alton Fox, 601 Putnam-st and Donald Richey, 733 Warren-st, was escorted to the altar by her father.Her long-sleeved princess style gown of ivory crystalette and lace was trimmed, with pearls and sequins. A lace hat, embroidered in pearls and sequins secured her fingertip veil. She carried a lace covered Bible, adorned with a white orchid and a cascade of stephanotis. Her^ jewelry was a necklace of smairseed pearls and matching earrings.Donna Richey was her sister’s maid of honor. Sandra Maschari, the bride’s cousin was a bridesmaid. Their gowns were crystal-ette with gold peacocks imprinted on the antique ivory background. Gold headdresses and cala lilies, tied with gold ribbon, accented the attractive ensembles.Twin cousins of the bride, Tam and Tom Maschari were flower-girl and ringbearer. Tam was in a gold peacock print similar to the honor attendant’s' gown. She carried yellow rosebuds and white mums.Frank La Grass was best man. Wayne .Meyers, uncle of the groom ushered guests.Mother of the bride wore a blue jersey sheath dress with contrasting accessories. Her flowers were baby orchids and blue buds The groom’s' mother wore beige with gold accessories and a corsage of pink camellias .and rosebuds.Breakfast was served at the home of the groom’s parents, Mr and Mrs. William Nearhood, 81( W. Market-st, and luncheon at Log Cabin Inn. The reception was at Knights of St. John home.MRS. 'After a brief wedding trip, the couple will leave for Louisville, Ky. and will make their home with former Sanduskians, Mr. and Mrs. James McGory, while the bridegroom is stationed at Fort Knox as a private in the United States Army.The new Mrs. Meyers, a 1955 graduate of Sandusky High school was a Blue Streaks cheerleader for two years and active in the Dramatic Club and a cappella choir. Pvt. Meyers, also a 1955 graduate of Sandusky High, was a star tennis player and a member of the basketball team.
