KneeMiss Beverly Jean Magnusen and Norman Harold Knee exchanged their marriage vows Dec. 26 in the Wabash Street Methodist Church in Wabash, Ind.Rev. Phillip W. Lewis officiated at the double ring service before an altar decorated withsleeves completed her costume. She carried a single long stemmed white rose tied with long streamers.Bridesmaids were Miss Sandra Haypert and Mrs. James Krom of Urbana, Ind., and Miss Joyce Laird of Ludington.They wore costumes identicalMrs. Harold Norman Kneewhite pom pom chrysanthemums and poinsettias and lighted with tall candelabra.Mrs. Marvin Ply presented organ music for the ceremony.The bride was escorted down the white carpeted aisle by her brother, Robert Magnusen of Ludington.She wore a floor length gown of crystal white velvet and Alen-con lace. Crystals and pearls embroidered the lace appliqued midriff of the sculptured bodice fashioned with a scoop neckline and long tapering sleeves. A detachable chapel length train swept in unpressed pleats from a jeweled band.Her tiered veil of imported illusion was secured to a forward worn cloche of lace petals edged with pearls and studded with crystals.The bride carried a cascade bouquet of miniature sweetheart roses, white carnations and ivy.The maid of honor, Miss Mary Ann Magnusen of Ludington, was attired in a floor length gown of red velveteen with scoop neckline and bell skirt accented with a satin midriff. Melendy St., Ludington and the late Morice Magnusen are the bride’s parents. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Knee of 660 Manchester Ave., Wabash, Ind., are parents of the groom.A reception was held following the ceremony in the social rooms of the church. Miss Carolyn Mattern, Miss Barbara Snyder and Mrs. Robert Magnusen served the guests.For a wedding trip to Florida the bride wore a three piece Royal blue wool knit suit with black accessories.They will reside at 259 Forrest Ave., Wabash, Ind., after Jan. 6.The bride is a graduate of Ludington high school and Elkhart University. Lake-shore Road, Ludington in the Wesleyan Methodist Church in Hart on Jan. 1.Cindy Deal, sister of the bride, and Ronald Storm were the bridal attendants.Mr. and Mrs. Lykens will reside at 423 N. William St., Ludington.Past Oracles Are EntertainedMrs. LeMoyne Cronenwett entertained Past Oracles of Washington Camp 542, Royal Neighbors of America in her home following their annual Christmas dinner in Hotel Stearns recently.Recorded Christmas music was enjoyed during the evening and gifts were exchanged.During a brief business meeting conducted by Mrs. Gaines B. Wright, chairman, Mrs. Howard T. Harrington and Mrs. Cronenwett were appointed to prepare a set of by-laws to be presented at the next meeting.Mrs. Lloyd Sutter and Mrs. Cronenwett will serve as chairmen of the group for the coming year.The next meeting will be held on March 22 with the place to be announced later.Past Oracles present were Mesdames Wright, Sutter, Harrington, Harold LeFleur, Gus C. Pavledes, Ewald Carlson, Glen-na Parsons, Merle Arehart, Leo Tondu, L. G. Parker and the hostess.Mrs. Aubrey Johnson was a guest of the group.Party Held On Neiv Year’s EveMr. and Mrs. Edward Merrit of 206 S. Harrison St., entertained at a New Year’s Eve party in their home Thursday evening.Visiting and pinochle were enjoyed during the evening with Mrs. Clinton Parsons winning high score for women and Mrs. Percy Morse low. High prize for the men was, awarded to Percy Morse and low to Walter Anderson. Mrs. Arvilla Carr won the traveling prize for 100 aces.Sandwiches, cake, molded dessert, relishes, coffee and tea were served by the hostess.Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Parsons, Mr. and Mrs. Percy Morse, Mrs. Arvilla Carr, Walter Anderson and the host and hostess.years in the United States Army. He is a postal clerk at the Wabash, Ind., post office.Mr. and Mrs. Harold Knee, parents of the groom, entertained at a rehearsal party Christmas night in their home.
