MISS JOAN MICKLESMr. and Mrs. John P, Nickles, 26 Linden ave., have announced the engagement of their daughter, Joan, to Lieutenant Socrates Mi-halakos, Water bury, Conn. The announcement was made at a family dinner at the Nickles home Christmas Day.Miss Nickles is a senior at Middletown High School. Her fiance, a graduate of Brown University, Is attending the University of Connecticut Law School.An August wedding is planned.
