POPULAR: HARRISONBURG COU PLE ARE MARRIED IN DAYTON BY DOR. R. H. ALFRED—BRIDE DAUGHTER OF MR. HARRISON CARRIER. Mr. Lewis C. Longe and Miss Ger rude Carrier, both of Harrisonburg drove to Dayton last evening, where they were married at 8:30 o'clock by Dr. R. H. Alfred, an ordained minis tr of the Christian church and long a practitioner of medicine at Dayton, the ceremony was performed at the home of Dr. Alfred. After their marriage Mr. and Mrs Long returned to Harrisonburg and are now guests in the home of the pride’s father, Mr. Harrison Carrier, on West Elizabeth street. Temporar ily at least they will probably make their home with Mr. Carrier. Mr. Long, who is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Long of Melrose, is a carpenter by trade and is in the em ploy of Moore Hedrick, builders and contractors. He is an energetic, popu lar young man and like his bride has a host of friends throughout the coun ty as well as in Harrisonburg who will join in wishing him and his bride long life and much happiness.
