MISS MILDRED BURTZ AND CLAUDE FEWELL ARE WEDChristman Eve wan delightfully observed when Miss Mildred Burts of this city and Mr. Claude Fewell of Happy surprised their many friends and were quietly married at 1 30 o'clock that afternoon at Clovis, N M.. with the Rev. Mr.Barton, pastor of the Presbyterian church of that city officiating. Clarence Leavitt of Canyon, attended the couple.The bride wore an attractive costume of brown satin with accessories to match. Mrs. Fewell is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs Henry Burtz of Canyon and has resided here most of her life. 8he 1a a graduate of Canyon High School and attended W. T. 8. T. C in 1929 and 1930. At present she is teaching school near HappyThe groom is the son of W. Fewell of near Happy and for the past several years has been associated with his father in ranching. He attended W. T. high school here several years agoThe couple will be at home near Happy and Mrs Fewell will continue teaching until the end of theterm.
