MARRIED.HERR —CARPENTER.—At W. B. Carpenter’s, Marion, Wednesday, Nov., 28, 1883, by Rev. W. F. Barclay, Mr. C. C. Herr and Miss Cora A. Carpenter.Cora, as she was formerly called, will be remembered as one of the most popular young ladies in the Freshman class in ’81 and ’82. She expected to return this year, but, with Byron, she concluded to “tay the effect of the first kiss of love.” It was one of the most enjoyable social events of the season. About two hundred invitations were issued. They were the recipients of many practical and costly presents. TheCorntellian extends its best wishes for the happy -couple’s future success.
