Miss Spaedy wedsMr. L.BorgmeyerMiss Mary Elaine Spaedy and Lawrence J. Borgmeyer were married Friday in a 7:30 p.m. concelebrated mass at Immaculate ConceptionCatholic Church, Jefferson City. The Rev. I/mis Dorn and the Rev. Michael Quinn officiated at the double ring ceremony.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Victor G Spaedy, Pilot Grove The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lambert Borgmeyer, Meta.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of ice blue bridal satin styled with Edwardian sleeves and a high neckline. The gown was trimmed with accents of venise lace. Her veil was secured by a band of silk fluf fed organza.Mrs. Dennis Knipp, Pilot Grove, was her sister’s matron of honor. She wore a gown of blue cotton brocade designed with a high neckline and long mutton chop sleeves.Her veil was secured by a velvet triple bow,Daniel Borgmeyer, St. Ann, served as his brother’s best man. Ushering duties were performed by John Spaedy, Kansas City, brother of the bride; and Jerry Borgmeyer, Springdale, Ark., borther of the groomAcolytes were Tony Spaedyand Mark Zimmer, nephews of the bride and groom. Mass lector was Darrell Spaedy, brother of the bride.The reception was held at Selinger Center. Miss Beverly Scheperle was in charge of the guest book.Assisting with the reception were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Henry, Mrs. Judy Meisel, Miss Bertha McClackey, Miss Alberta Gilpin and Miss Sheryl Decker.After their wedding grrip, the couple will reside in Jefferson City.The bride is a graduate of Pilot Grove High School and\V*Wright 9tudkMrs. Lawrence J. Borgmeyerhas been employed with the Missouri Department of Conservation. The groom graduated from Fatima High School, Westphalia. He served four years with the U. S. Navy and now is employed with the Missouri Pacific Railroad.Mr. and Mrs. Charles Henry entertained at their home Thursday with a rehearsal dinner for the couple's immediate families and the wedding party.
