MIENES OBSERVE 50th ANNIVERSARYMr. and Mrs. Henry Miene, Sr. celebrated their golden wedding anniversary with an open house at the Zion E R Church on Sunday, February 25, from 2:00-5:00 p. xn. Approximately 200 relatives and friends from Waukon, Decorah; I/uana, Postville, Castalia and Chat-field, Minnesota, attended.A short program was given, with Rev. Odenbaeh, Paul Gabrielson Glenda Klocke, Barbara Schutte Carol Ann Ehde, Judy Engelhardt LaVerne Engelhardt, Juliann Miene and Alice Beardmore, taking part Mrs. Gene Schutte was in charge o: the guest book.The cake was cut and served bj | Mrs. Curtis Gilbertson and Mrs Gorden J. Olson. Coffee was pourec by Mrs. Everett Miene and Aliclt; Beardmore. Waitresses were Juli ann Miene and Ruth Ann Klocke Mrs. Herbert Miene, Mrs. Ervii Miene, Mrs. Ruben Klocke, Mrs. ILe Roy Foels, Mrs. Verni Ehde am Mrs. Henry Miene, Jr. helped ii the kitchen.
