FRANK E. OuVAL OBITUARYFrank Earl DuVal, son of Oscar and Alice Robinson DuVal* wag born October 25, 1882, In Clark County, Iowa. From Iowa, the family went to Cullison, Kansas, to live for a few years. It was there the mother passed away. Later, in 1894, the father moved his 'children back to Iowa, locating at Glen wood.Frank received his education in the Glenwood schools and remained in this community throughout his life.On February 15, 1911, he was united in marriage to Mary Grace Cattron at Glenwood, Two sons were born to them, One son, James Scott, died in infancy. After a few years spent at the old home, they moved to Mr. DuVal’s farm throe |miles north of Glenwood, where they resided for 12 years. In 1927, they purchased a farm 6 miles north of Malvern where they liveduntil they retired in November, 1947. At that time, they came tothe present home in Glenwood at611 Coolidge Street Mrs. DuValpreceded her husband in deathJune 23, 1948.Frank was a member of Grace Methodist Church and also a member of Knights of Pythias Lodge.Two years ago, he was hospitalized with a coronary condition and it is thought a reccurence of this, caused his death the night of February 8, 1952. at his home in Glenwood, at the age of 69 years, 2 months and 15 days.He is survived by his son, Alan and Alan’s wife, Louise; b'13 granddaughter, Anne Louise, all of Mt. | Vernon, Iowa, two brothers, Harry of Hemlngford. Nebraska, and'Eu-1 gene C. of Dayton, Ohio.Some .25 friends and former neighbors of the DuVals from the East Liberty neighborhood attend- .od funeral services last Thursdayin Grace Methodist church.
