's Marriage Ceremony uniting Miss. Lila Jean Way of Spring Creek and Theodore I. Mowers of this city was performed Saturday, February 24th, at the parsonage of the Church of the Nazarene. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. DeForest Way of Spring Creek and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Hayes of York stood at the parents of the groom, Rev. R. R. Merriman, pastor of the local church, officiated at, the double ring ceremony which took place at 1:20 in the afternoon, , The new Mrs. Mowers wore a blue suit with pink accessories for her wedding and her attendant was Miss Ruth Matteson, her cousin, who also was attired in a blue suit but with yellow fecd s sories. Both girls wore: Test corsages to match their een navies The groom was attended by his ‘brother, Howard Mowers, who serv ed as best The serving table at 1: 22ception, which took place at the East Main street home of the bride's aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Miles McCray, was centered with a three Gered wedding cake. Friends and relatives from War ren, Lawrence Park and Spring Creek attended the wedding and ception from out of town. ‘The couple both attended Corry High School and will make their home in Erie where Mr. Mowers’ is employed by the Pennsylvania Raile road
