Miss Olive Birkett Fielding, formerly of Beckley, daughter of a Mrs. James C. Fielding, of McClung street, and Lieutenant Forrest E. Marrical, son of Mrs. Blanche Marrical, of Glen Rogers, were married Sunday afternoon. The ceremony was performed in Christ Church Methodist, in Char leston, by Dr. Joseph Clare Hof man, in the presence of members of the immediate families and a few close friends of the couple. For her wedding the former Miss Fielding wore a beige gab ardine suit with a white blouse and brown accessories. A small pink flowered hat and a corsage of brown orchids completed her ensemble. Her only attendant, Miss Kathe rine Kessel, wore a light green gabardine suit with an orchid hat, black accessories and a gardenia corsage. Wayne Bumpus was best man for his cousin. Mrs. Marrical, a graduate of Charleston high school, is a senior at Morris Harvey college, where she belongs to Alpha Mu sorority, Panhellenic council and the col ege choir. She has been presi dent of the Comet and was named to ‘Who's Who in American Uni versities and Colleges.” A former reporter with the Raleigh Register she now is on the news staff of the Charleston Daily Mail. Lieutenant Marrical, a gradu ate of Woodrow Wilson high school, has been with the mer chant marine service for over sev en years. During that time he has served in the Atlantic, Medi terranean, and Pacific theaters. He holds the distinguished service medal, and at present is stationed in Washington, D. C.
