Ind., ! and Miss Lena Williams, of this place, were united in marriage at Evansville Saturday, Justice of the Peace Henry H. Elmeudorf performing the ceremony that binds them for better or for worse ;for life. The marriage was the cuimi-!•nation of a happy courtship extending over several weeks. . The young people unaccompanied that day took the rrain for Evansville, there they were met by j the groom’s mother and after securing j the license at the clerk’s office repaired to the Justice’s office where the mar riage ceremony was performed. They ! returned to this place and for the present j will make their home at the SouthernV*hotel.The croom, who is 21 years of age, is the sou ot Mr. and Mrs. Leander Lynn, i of near Boouville, Ind. He is a painter! by trade and will follow this vocation ' The bride is the younger daughter of: Mrs. Lillie Anderson, proprietress of the Southern hotel, and is an excellent young lady of 10 years.The friends and ine News extends congratulations for a pleasant journey through life.
