FARMINGTON RESIDENCE. Mr. and Mrs. David Allan Van Bremen, wed Saturday, Feb. 15, are residing in Farmington. The couple exchanged vows in a 6:30 p.m. ceremony in the Sansom Oiapel United Methodist Church. The Rev. John Basinger and the Rev. Arthur Gotjen officiated.The bride, the former Sharon Elizabeth Takacs, is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tony Takacs of Farmington. The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Van Bremen of Farmington.The bride was given in marriage by her father. For her nuptials, she wore a gown and headpiece of her own creation. Hie gown was of ivory satin with detachable train trimmed with blue satin ribbon and eyelet lace Her headpiece was of the same ivory satin trimmed with blue satin ribbon and lace. It secured a veil of illusion. She carried a bouquet of blue sweetheart roses, white miniature carnations, baby’s breath and ivy.AttendantsMrs. linda Martin of Smithfieid was matron of honor, and Miss Janet Vlosick of Grindstone was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Janet Kostelnik of Uniontown, Mrs. Susan Papa of McOeilandtown and Miss Susan Takacs of Farmington, sisterThe attendants were attired in floor-length gowns of blue crepe with navy velvet collars and headpieces to match.Andrew Martin of Smithfieid served as best man. Ushers were Roger Myers of Markleysburg, Stanley and Tom Van Bremen, brothers of the bridegroom, and Sonny Leonard, all of Farming-ton.Reception in MarkleysburgSupplementing the ceremony was a reception in the Mountain Fellowship Center in Markleysburg.The bride is employed as a registered nurse by Uniontown Hcsoital She was graduated from Uniontown High School with Class of 1971 and from the Uniontown Hospital School of Nursing.The bridegroom is employed by E. W. Bowman, Inc. He was graduated from Uniontown High School with Class of 1966.
