She carried a cascade of red roses and white daisy pompons.Miss Renae Hedges of Des Moines attended her sister as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Darcia Hedges of Bagley, sister of the bride, and Miss Mary Jane Carothers of Des Moines. They wore red velvet, floor length dresses and w carried bouquets, 4of white daisyFrederick of Ames attended his brother as best,man. Darwin Schilling of Jefferson and Randy Hedges of Grand Junction, brother of the bride,were groomsmen. Bill VanSickle of Grand Junction and Jim Carroll of Bagley were ushers.Miss Joan Jacobson of Des» rMoines was ceremony organist and Charles Biekland of Des Moines was soloist.A reception was held following the ceremony in the church, parlors. Mrs Eldon Larson and Miss Ruth Byrns served the nuptial cake. Mrs Dennis Johnston of Bayard and Mrs Gary Fain of Grinnell shared pouring honors.Hosting the reception were Mr and Mrs Horace Hedges of Bagley. Miss Ann Safley attended the guest book. Miss Jane Bonner of Des Moines was the bride’s personal attendant.Following, a wedding trip fortwo weeks in Arizona, the couple will live in rural Jefferson.The bride is a 1971 graduate of Bayard High School. The 'bridegroom is a 1968 graduate of Jefferson High School and he is now farming near Bagley.
