Takes Bride In Rites at Belvidere In a recent ceremony in the First Methodist church, Belvi dere, Miss Doris Lucille Moore, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray mond Moore, became the bride of Richard Horace Sublette, son of Mr. and Mrs. Horace Sub lette of Homewood. Officiating at the ceremony were the Rev. Milo Vondracek of Chicago Heights and the Rev. Paul G. Dibble of Belvidere. The bride was attired in a wedding gown of rosepoint lace and Dupioni silk. Made with a lace trimmed square neckline and lace panelled ballerina length skirt, the gown was adorned with appliques of the lace. A cap of rosepoint lace edged with seed pearls held her silk illusion veil in place. Her stephanous bouquet cen tered around a white orchid. Matron of honor was the bride’s sister, Mrs.Robert Bahl ing of Belvicere. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Fred Conger of Clif ton and Miss Ruth Yonan of Chicago. Both were gowned in changeable blue taffeta with empire bodices and flared bal lerina length skirts. Their blue velvet headbands matched the velvet bows at the waistlines. Pink roses formed their bou quets. Bruce Sublette of Aurora, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Gerard Sublette of Homewood, another brother, and Robert Bahling of Belvi dere, brother-in-law of the bride, were groomsmen. Ushers were Charles Anctil of West Allis, and Carl Steiner of Homewood. Miss Janice Moore sang “Still as the Nght,” “A Wedding Benediction” and “The Lord's Prayer” as soloist at her sister's wedding. Organist was Roger Marshall. Mrs. Moore was in blue with white accessories, and Mrs. Sublette in Kelly green with white accessories. Both wore corsages of rosebuds. The new Mrs. Sublette is a graduate of Belvidere high school and the University of Il linois. She also attended Park college, and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi scholastic honoraries. Un til recently, she was in social work at Jones Memorial com munity center, Cheago Heights. Mr. Sublette is majoring in journalism at the University of Illinois and expects to be gradu ated in June. He holds mem bership in Cosmopolitan frater nity and serves on the board of directors and cabinet of the university YMCA. He is a di rector of the Great Lakes region of the Collegiate Council for the United Nations. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Sublette will make their home in Cham paign, Ill., for the present.
