Mandeville on ( Eeb. 10, at ten o’clock at St. Jo- h seph’s Catholic church in York. I s Only members of the immediate | lt;families were present.The bride is the daughter of Mr. | ( and Mrs. John Crowdell, Benedict. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Nels. Wittgren, Stromsburg. 11 The altar of the church was decorated with potted plants of yellow jonquils. Music was furnished by Mrs. Rose Moran, or- 11 ganist, and Mrs. Merton Jeffr*soloist. # j1The bride wore an aqua suitp with light cocoa brown accesscies. Her corsage was of whitegardenias-and red roses.Mrs. John Crowdell, jr., sistlt; in-law of the bride served as matron of honor. She wore a dusty rose suit with brown accessories and a corsage of white carnationsand white roses. *John Crowdell, jr., brother of the bride, served the groom asbest man.No reception was held as the couple left immediately for a short wedding trip to Iowa and other eastern points.The bride is a graduate of Benedict high school and was employed by the Lincoln Tel. . Tel. Co., and Woodman Insurance Co.. of Lincoln. The groom graduated from Polk high school and after serving four years in the' U. S.army, two 'of which, were overseas.has been engaged in farming. The couple will make their home on a farm southeast of Stromsburg. York Daily News-Times.
