Poplar, was married to George Murry Stockton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stockton, Rt. 2, Saturday, Feb. 15, in the Berean Baptist Church.Rev. Milton Carr officiated the single ring ceremony amidst a setting of pink azealias and white spider mums, with Mrs. Milton Carr at the organ.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an off-white dress with the empire design featuring a lace trim bodice and long sleeves. Her silk illusion, three-tiered veil was attached to a crown of white violets and seed pearls, and she carried a bouquet of pink and white baby mums.The bride's mother wore a rose wool crocheted dress with lace trim and beige suede accessories. The mother of the bridegroom was attired in a pink knit dress with black patent accessories.The wedding ceremony was performed before the immediate families of the bride and bridegroom.A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents with the bride’s table covered with lace over pink, and holdingcrystal a candle holder imported from Belguim, pink lighted tapers, and the white bride’s cake decorated with pink roses and topped with a miniature bride and bridegroom.The couple will reside at 801 S. Summit St.
