Luther Clark and Ella Houser were the couple. Both are under age. He is 19. She is 17, and a high school pupil.The young man walked to Macedonia Wednesday evening and Miss Houser left on the north-bound train early Thursday morning. As soon asit was discovered what had happened the telephone was put ..into use and the elopers were located at Carson and placed in charge of an officer until the young lady’s father could reach them.On Friday a consultation of all parties concerned was held and parental opposition was withdrawn. Accompanied by his father, M. 1-1. Clark, the young man came to Glenwood that day and a license was issued to him. The wedding oecured on Saturday night at the Clark home. Rev, Mr. Miller of the Henderson Christian church officiated. The bride is a daughter of James Houser. The groom is a clerk in a Henderson store.Staples officiating.
