Dunlap and Eddie L. Newton were married Jan. 18 at 38th Street Church of the Naza-rene with the Rev. Carl S. Dawson performing the 1:30 p.m., doublering ceremony.The bride is the daughter of Ge-nieve Bell, Marion, and the late Thomas L. Bell. Her husband is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert P. Newton, Lapel.The bride’s white wedding gown was accented with little blue flower print. Her white veil was accented with pearls, and she earned a Bible surrounded with white, blue and yellow flowers and one red rose.Theresa E. Shaffer was maid of honor. Paula Newton and Linda Murray were flower girls. Tnnny Fidley and Brandy Harris were flower girls. Jesse and Charles Dunlap were ring bearers.N,MR. AND MRS. NEWTONForest Vardiman was best man for the wedding. David Delph and Doug Harrison were groomsmen. Jason Fidley and Wayne St. Clair were ushers.A reception was held at the church.The bride attended Upland High School and is active in her church. The groom was graduated in 1981 from Lapel High School and from Job Corp in 1983. Lowe were married on Jan. 18 in Kingsland, Ga.The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Maureen Sandra Rowan, of Middlesex, England.
