She is now connected with the North Carolina I ! Theaters. Inc,, here. lt;The groom is a graduate of the 1 I high school at Springfield, Mo„ -and of Culver Stockton college at Canton. Mo. He recently was discharged after three years’ service States Army, two years of which as a paratrooper in the United were spent overseas with the 1101st Airborne Division. He is entitled to wear the purple heart and cluster, bronze star, presidential citation and cluster, and four ETC battle stars. He served in the European area and was severely wounded during the seige of Bas-togne.Following the wedding about twenty-five guests enjoyed dinner at the groom's home. Thert the couple left by motor on a trip to New- York city, Washington, D. C.. and to High Point, where they will make their home. For travel the bride changed to a navy blue gabardine suit with accessories and a fur coat.
