Debra Kay Tyhurst became the bride of James Steven Walker Saturday night in St. Marks United Methodist Chapel. Following the 6:30 p.m. ceremony guests were entertained at a reception in the Westmoor Club.The bride is the daughter of'Mr. and Mrs. George M. Tyhurst, 2801 N. Main St. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Walker, 3704 Fairwood Drive, Sylvania, are the bridegroom’s parents.The Rev. J. Paul Jones solemnized the ceremony. Mrs. Ralph Balmer was organist.Mrs. Joseph Kirk, Route 2, was the bride’s matron of honor. The bridegroom’s best man was Brad Scot, Dayton, and seating the guests were Joe Walker, Cincinnati, the bridegroom’s brother; Ed Campbell and Joe Kirk, both of Findlay.The bride chose a candlelight satin gown in A-line, empire style with accents of pearl-trimmed Alencon lace. Mrs. Kirk Wore a nile green gown enhanced with appliques of venise lace.The newlyweds are honeymooning inWashington D. C.A 1969 graduate of Van Buren High School, the bride attended Tiffin University and currently is a secretary atJames S. Walker Whirlpool Corp.Walker is operations manager for Ohio Hygienic. A 1968 graduate of Lima Shawnee High School, he attended Miami University in Oxford. He is a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity.K
