Frank Emory performed the ceremony.Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride is the daughter of Doug Thompson of La Grange and LauraWinstead of Kinston.She is the granddaughter of Helene Foltis and Connie Foltis, both of Palatka, Fla.A graduate of North Lenoir High School, she is in the nursing program at Lenoir Community College. She is a sales associate with Food Lion.The groom is the son of Tony Emory and Wanda Emory, both of Kinston. He is the grandson of Ronnie and Sharon Lanier of Kinston and Geraldine Emory of Richlands.A graduate of Bethel Christian Academy, he is a dispatcher with 911 Communications in Lenoir County.The bride’s cousin, Corbi Bahel of Dover, Del., was the matron of honor.The bride’s sister-in-law, Stephanie Wallace of Snow Hill, was the maid of honor.The groom’s father was the best man.Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Anthony Emory IIFollowing a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C.,the couple is living in Kinston.
