Miss Leal, Aurelio Martinez Vows Solemnized SaturdayMiss Amelia S. Leal be-came the bride of Aurelio A. Martinez Saturday afternoon in Sacred Heart Church of Odem. Mrs. Fidela G. Blanco of O d e m is the bride's mother. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Aurelio Martinez Sr. of Edroy.Given in marriage by her cousin, Eligio Blanco Jr., the bride wore a Chantilly lace gown with an empire bodice and chapel train. A crown of pearlized orange blossoms and crystals held her illusion veil.Miss Elizabeth Perez of Corpus Christi was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Hilda Veliz, Miss Janie Bargas, Miss Maria Elena Garza, Miss Gloria Gomez, Miss Lydia O’Canas, Miss Dolores Rodriguez, Miss Frances Veliz, Miss Mary Espinoza, Miss Janie Franco, Miss Janie Guzman and MissElma Martinez.Other attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Cecilio Palacios, Mr. and Mrs. Benito Rocha Jr. ofCorpus Christi, Mr. and Mrs. Lorenzo Vela of Mathis, Mr. and Mrs. Esteban Medellin, Mr. and Mrs. Pedro Rodriguez, Mr. and Mrs. Nicanor Gonzales of Sinton, Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Veliz, Mr. and Mrs. Juan O’Canas and Mr. and Mrs. Arturo Martinez of Portland.A reception followed at Galvan Ballroom.After a wedding trip to Mexico City, the couple willlive in Sinton.Both are graduates of Odem High School.
