bil J, w J. Wt W wEwing—Meahl.The marriage of Miss Mayme Ewing and Mr. George Meahl occurred at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. Margaret J. Ewing, Wednesday evening, February 15, 1911, only - the immediate members of the family being present-The ceremony was performed by Rev. J. T. Edwards, of the M. E. church. Although t;his had been expected for some time, the many friends weie much surprised at this time it not being known, until after the happy couple had left town. The bride is the accomplished daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Ewing and is loved and respected by hundreds offriends and neighbors as she had been for some time one of the salesladies in J. E. Hunsucker's department store. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Meahl, of Brownstown, formerly of this vicinity, and is now engaged in business in Birmingham, Ala., for which place they departed Friday. Congratulations and best wishes are extended by all who knew them.
